Monday 1st November 'KICKS'

Shot Type / Camera Angles & Movements.
The opening scene of the trailer, there are a lot of close-ups to the characters movements of hands and face. As the trailer continues, there are a series of low angle shots and high angle shots shown. There are not a lot of fast camera movements shown in the trailer, all the shots are shown to be very slow which creates the suspense atmosphere of watching the trailer.

Mise-en-scene.
The colour of the trailer shows that the film is not glamour and bright with the colour the frame captures. It is pretty much dark, grey and gloomy capturing the British type weather because it is a British film.  The characters in the film that are shown in the trailer are presented as young British girls by the way they dress, very common but not too old for their age which is presumably 16. Within the first few seconds of the trailer you are shown that the main character is a student at high school with a shot of her walking in her school uniform.

Sound
The trailer opens with a voice over a young girl which sounds as if she is scared whispering, "We love you Liverpool, we do". This continues as different shots are shown, which then a beat of music drops in. A commentator starts to speak over the music, we cannot see his face but only hear his face. As more characters come out in the trailer the music starts to become more soft. However as the trailer continues, the music becomes more stronger and negative as they show the the suspense and trouble in the film.

Editing
The shots are placed in a particular way, to show effect in the film. In the trailer the first few shots you could slowly pick up on what the film is about. However from the start of the trailer compared to the end you would have never known what would happen, therefore the trailer causes excitement for the audience to want to watch the film and is intriguing.

Genre
The film is presented as a thriller, that would probably have low affects on people however would shock people about reality. Al ot of teenage girls have obsessions with famous celebrities, and the film shows how obsession can be dangerous to both themselves and the persons involved.

Narrative
The Trailer starts off with Todorov Theory' of having a equilibrium of a calm peaceful settings, which introduces the characters. Then it gets interrupted by a disequilibrium of a problem which arises between the characters. However with Todrovs' Theory there is a new equilibrium but the trailer does not show this however it may be in the film but because this is a snippet of the movie not too much information about the film is wanted to be shown that may ruin it for the viewers'.
